Gary Batchelor graduated in Fine Art Printmaking and has continued to develop both his technical understanding of print production and his independent studio practice.

His work explores the relationship between traditional processes and contemporary tools. Rooted in printmaking, his practice now extends into layered watercolor portraiture and subtle motion studies, examining tone, structure, and surface.

Gary combines print methods, painting, and reclaimed materials to investigate texture and composition. The work evolves through process, with each piece building gradually through layers until the final image settles into place.
